Sephas C. Gatlin

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want..." Psalms 23 Sephas C. Gatlin was born on November 30, 1919 in Mt. Holly, AR the daughter of Houston and Ola Belle Cook Creer. She departed this life on Sunday, August 30, 2009 in Courtyard Nursing Home in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester Gatlin and one sister, Willie Mae Creer. Sephas was a faithful member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas until her health failed. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her cousin, Corine Moore and family; her extended family Danny and Becky Wagnon and their family; her church family and friends. A homegoing celebration for Sis. Gatlin will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkanss with Rev. Raymond Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery, Mt. Holly, Arkansas under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff.
