"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want...Psalms 23 Mary Lee McAdoo was born in Smackover, Arkansas to Fred and Jeanett Brock-McAdoo on August 10, 1922. She spent the majority of her life in Smackover, Arkansas. She was an attendee of First Baptist Church Smackover. She loved to cook and was employed as a cook in the Northwestern Railway Restaurant and the Rustic Garden REstaurant of Milwaukee, Winsconsin. She owned restaurants in Smackover and in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While she had no children by birth, she was a mother to her sister and so many others. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary leaves to cherish her memories, a sister, Ruby Wilson of Smackover, Arkansas; a niece, Shirley(Thomas)Browne of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; nephews, Sylvester(Lisa)Wilson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Leonard Wilson of Smackover; Special Cousins, James Bradford of Des Arc, Arkansas and Ethel(David)Pressley of Valparaiso, Indiana and many other relatives and friends. Graveside Services for Mary will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Primm Cemetery with Rev. Felton Burgie officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff.
