Jayden Christopher Burgie passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2016 in Little Rock, AR. He was 17 years old. Jayden attended school in the Little Rock School District and was known to be well liked by his classmates. He had a love for music and sought to make his family and friends feel better through laughter. He was known for being genuine and truly cared for his people. He was an intelligent young man with aspirations and goals he wanted to achieve to make a better life for him and his family. The joy Jayden brought to those around him will be truly missed, and though he is no longer with us we realize he is in a much better place than the world we currently live. Jayden was born on December 29, 1998 in Little Rock, AR to his parents, Justin Burgie and Anita Williams. Jayden is survived by his parents, Justin Burgie and Anita Williams, grandparents, Janetta and Sammy Burgie of El Dorado, AR, Mae Lois Williams of North Little Rock, AR and Larry Johnson of Los Angeles, CA; aunt, Harriet Bland; cousins, Jeremy Bland, Henley Bland and Jonathan Perdue. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016, 2 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR. A reception of joy will follow the service.
