Versa Miller

Versa Lee Miller was born on February 6, 1947 in Columbia, Louisiana the daughter of Luther and Maxine Hearns Hunter. She was raised in Louisiana and later relocated to El Dorado, AR. She was baptized into the Church of Christ where she remained faithful until her health failed. She was employed by Hudson Memorial Nursing Home and J and M Poultry Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Terry Cooks and a sister, Mae Dessa Cooks. her husband, Clinton Miller; two sons, Terry L. Caldwell Sr. and Fredrick Caldwell. She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Roy Caldwell and Antonio Caldwell; one daughter Linda Hill; one brother James Cooks; a very special niece;20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Plum Street Church of Christ with Rev. Erik Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. No visitation at the funeral home.
