Gwendolyn Sharone Hollins Harris Maddox Jones, affectionately known as "Sweet Killa" was born to James Maddos, Alex "Toote" Harris and Mildred B. Hollins Maddox on April 25, 1954 in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. She departed this life on October 25, 2015 at El Dorado, Arkansas. Gwendolyn accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at St. Matthew M.B.C. #2 in Mer Rouge, LA. She later joined First St. James M.B.C. where she had been a member for the past 9 years under the leadership of Pastor Roy C. Aaron. Gwen finished high school at Delta High in Mer Rouge, LA and obtained a Bachelor's Deree in Social Work from Grambling State University. She was also a member of the Elk's Derrick City Temple #352 of El Dorado, AR. She was a former employee of El Dorado School District, Bucks of El Dorado and South Arkansas Developmental Center for Children and Families. Gwen was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Simmie and Irma Harris, maternal grandparents, Levi Hollins, Sr. and Minnie Hawkins; her fathers, James Maddox and Alex "Toote" Harris; two brothers, Dennis Maddox, Sr. and Alex E. Harris, SR; two sisters, Linda Faye Davenport and Katheryn Hawkins White. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mildred Maddox of El Dorado, Arkansas; her daughter Ashanti Tiam Jones(special friend Joshua Davis) of Winnfield, Louisiana; a son Henry S. Jones, Jr. (Jaquettta) of Enid, Oklahoma; three granddaughters, Shontorria Lougin of Winnfield, Louisiana and Hannah Jones and Haley Jones of Enid, Oklahoma and one grandson Jamal Gibson of Enid, Oklahoma; an honorary granddog, Levi; fifteen sisters, Tina Atkins, Georgia Hay both of El Dorado, Ar, Shirley Stubbs(Jerry)of Dale City, VA, Samantha Eaglin of Woodbridge, VA, Karen Wilson(Randall), Melinda Davis(Kerry) both of El Dorado, AR, Fannie Phillips(Louis), Ethel B. Standifer, Ruth Ann Harris, Carol Wilson Hill(Sammie), Dorothy Bradley(Bobby), Betty Tappin Runner(Clinton), Judity Ann DeJohnette, Louis "Lady" Hawkins(Angela), Howard Hawkins(Yolanda), Alan Myles, Jeremy Myles, Steve Hawkins(Linda), William Hawkins(Loretta) and Clarence Hawkins, a speical niece Clewaun Davis, a special man in her life John Hay, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Homegoing services for Gwendolyn will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First St. James M. B. C. El Dorado, AR with Rev. Roy C. Aaron officiating. Interment will follow in the Lott Burgy Cemetery, El Dorado, AR under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
