John 14:6 Denver Ray Robinson was born on June 20, 1941 in El Dorado, Arkansas the son of Pete Robinson and Essie Evans. He departed this life on Monday, July 13, 2015 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Diane Mitchell, Jeanette Goodwin, Floyd Goodwin, John H.Goodwin and Ezell Nelson. At an early age Denver united with the New Providence Baptist Church where he remained faithful until his death. Denver graduated from Smith High School in Norphlet, Arkansas. He served a President of the Smith High School Alumni. He worked for MacMillan Ring Free Oil Company in Norphlet, Ar Denver loved and enjoyed his family. He loved to cook! He was always one to give a helping hand to others in need. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife Willie Frances Robinson; three sons, Denver Ray Robinson, Jr., Christopher Robinson and Rev. Anthony Traylor and his wife Vada; one brother Rev. Levell Faison and his wife Annie all of El Dorado, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Home-going services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at New Providence Baptist Church, Smackover Hwy, Norphlet, Arkansas with Rev. Anthony Traylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Rehobeth Cemetery, Norphlet under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation at the funeral home will be Friday, July 17, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 18, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
