Glenda Ann Brice

"May the works I've done speak for me.." Sister Glenda Ann Brice was born on August 29, 1958 to the late Williams and Florence Moore Hammock. Glenda graduated from Camden High School in 1976. Glenda attended college college for 2 years at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Glenda was employed at Lockheed Martin as a security guard for 22 years, until her health rendered her incapable. Glenda began her Christian walk at an early age and remained faithful until her departure at Baptist Health Medical Center on Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Glenda was preceded in death by her father, William Hammock; her mother Florence Hammock; her sister, Cheryl Hammock and her grandmother, Faye Moore. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband, Lee Brice of Harrell, Arkansas; three sons, Donyae Hammock(Erica) of Camden, Arkansas, Shawn Hammock(Yolanda) of Little Rock, Arkansas and A.J. Criner of Harrell, Arkansas; two brothers, Mark Hammock(Lisa) and John D. Hammock(Tonya) both of Camden, Arkansas; one sister, Peggy Bevelle(Glen) of Detroit, Michigan; Five grandchildren, Aaliyah, Davontae, Chaston, Dylan and Andrew. A host of nephews, neices, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Homegoing Celebration for Glenda will be held on Wednesday, February 4,2009 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Theotis Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery under the direction of The Sims Mortuary Staff. Vistation at the funeral home will be Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 9am-5pm.
