Tolbert "Bo" Steward

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." Psalms 23 Bro. Tolbert "Bo" Steward was born on July 4, 1918 in Union County, Arkansas, the son of Harvey and Annie Steward. He departed this life on November 4, 2008 in the Medical Center of South Arkansas, El Dorado, Arkansas. Tolbert was a member of the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, El Dorado, Arkansas. He met and married Nannie Bell Easter. Tolbert was a Long Haul Truck Driver and enjoyed it to the fullest. He often times talked about his "Rig". He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Huey P. Steward and a step-son, Clifford Culp. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife Nannie Bell Easter Steward of El Dorado, Arkansas; two daughters, Linda Steward and Jackie Steward both of Muskegon, Michigan; one sister, Mary Green of Summerfield, Illinois; eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. A homegoing celebration for Mr. Steward will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrius Steward officiating. Interment will follow in the Morning Star Cemetery, El Dorado, Arkansas under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 9:00am-5:00pm and Saturday, November 8, from 8:30-9:30am.
