Willie Lee Terry

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want" Bro. Willie Lee Terry was born on August 6, 1923 in Spearsville, Louisiana to the late Pete and Abbie Reed Terry. He departed this life on August 25, 2008 in Hillsboro Life Care Center, El Dorado, Arkansas. His parents, his wife, Topsy Terry, two sons, Willie James Terry and Jessie James Terry all preceded him in death. He was a member of First Baptist Church-Cordell, El Dorado, Arkansas. Willie leaves to cherish his loving memories;two sons, Miller Jean Terry(Lindy) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Michael Suell of El Dorado, Arkansas; four daughters, Dorothy Newton(Harvey)of El Dorado, Arkansas, Addilean Turner(Earl) of Fordyce, Arkansas, Marcia Swaizer and Beverly Ellison both of Detroit, Michigan; twenty-two grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. A homegoing celebration for Bro. Terry will be held on Friday, August 29,2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Sims Mortuary Chapel, El Dorado, Arkansas with the Rev. Pierce Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Arlington Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff.
