Ivera “Miss Money” Leveston was born on Aug. 8, 1927, in Calion, and died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was the daughter of Johnny and Onie Green McGhee and attended Washington High School. She worked for the McDavis family for many years as a caregiver. She was a member of St. Vestal C.M.E. Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Leveston; siblings, Vera McGhee, Geneva McGhee and Johnny Lee McGhee; and a great-grandson. Survivors include one daughter, Terri Marrable Grimes of El Dorado; one sister, Dorothy Williams of Oakland, Calif.; five grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Monday Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado with the Rev. Felton Burgie officiating. Interment will follow in Three Creeks Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. .
