When ties of love are broken And loved ones have to part It leaves a wound that never heals In ever aching heart. Sister Ethel Lee "Mutt" Hall Williamson was born April 17, 1936 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Goot and Lou Ella Hall. She was called to her heavenly home on October 24, 2013 As she began her Christian journey at an early age, she accepted the Lord as her personal savior while attending Zion Watch Baptist Church. As a lifetime faithful member of Zion Watch, she served on the Usher Ministry, worked in the kitchen and filled in wherever she was needed. Ethel Lee gave her hand in marriage to Wyatt "Son" Williamson. Through the joining of this union they were blessed with five sons and five daughters. The union of "Son" and "Mutt" was one based on love and togetherness. They did almost everything together, from raising children to raising the garden, which was one of the most beautiful gardens in town. Their garden was cultivated in the same manner they cultivated their relationship; with plenty of tender love and care. Together they had a love for entertaining their church family and opening their home to family and friends. In the Williamson household, if "Son" could get it in the house, "Mutt" could put it on the table. Her loving memories will be cherished by her husband, Wyatt Williamson of El Dorado, Arkansas; one son, Curtis Lee Miller; five step-daughters, Dorothy Miller, Ruby Miller, Joan Williams, Carrie Gilmore and Carla Williamson; four step-sons, Kenneth Williamson, Anthony Williamson, Wyatt Williamson, Jr. and Chris Williams; one sister, Betty L. Williams, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friend who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. today and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Watch Baptist Church, Shoute Division, in El Dorado with the Rev. D.R. Dredd officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Watch Cemetery. Under the direction of the Sims Mortuary staff.
