We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8 Louis Bowman, Jr. was born March 25,1927, in El Dorado,Arkansas. He was the son of the late Louis and Sarah Moore Bowman.He departed this life on May 16,2013, at John R. Williams Hospice House in El Dorado ,Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents a brother ,Robert Mason and Sisters, Ossie Bluford, Ebbie Ree "Fannie" Woods, Dessie Bowman, and Bessie Simpson . He leaves to cherish his memories : one sister Ellen Jackson, of El Dorado, Ar , and a host of other relatives and friends . A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Bowman will be held on Friday , May 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in New Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Eugue J. Farley officiating. Interment will follow in the Arlington Cemetery, El Dorado,Arkansas . The will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home .All public viewing will follow the funeral service .
