Scenia Mae Reynolds

"Yet a little while and world, seeth me no more; but ye see me; because I live,ye shall live also." John 14:19 Sis. Scenia Mae Reynolds was born on September 17, 1922 in El Dorado, Arkansas the daughter of John and Scenia Foster Fikes. She was a faithful member of Olive Branch Baptist Church until her health failed. She worked in privated homes. Scenia Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Willie Lee Fikes and Dan Fikes; three sisters, Shirley M. Fikes, Laddie M. Fikes and Nettie M. Fikes. She leaves to cherish her loving memories; one son, Jerry Fikes and one daughter, Grather B. Fikes both of El Dorado, Arkansas; two special nephews, J. L. Williams and Phillip Maker; two special nieces, Billy A. Fikes and Ruby Fikes; a host of other relatives and friends. A homegoing celebration in honor of Sis. Reynolds will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at United Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Farley officiating. Interment will follow in the Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 28, 2008 from 9:00am-5:00pm and Tuesday, January 29, from 8:30-11:00am.
