Howard Causey

II Timothy 4:7 Howard Causey was born in Clarks, Louisiana on August 19, 1930 the son of Uriah and Lucendia Jackson Causey. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He departed this life on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Oakridge Nursing Home, El Dorado, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Garland Causey, a brother Charlie Causey and two sisters Mildred Carrington and Armendia Johnson. He retired from the El Dorado Postal Service. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Julia L. Causey of El Dorado, AR; two sons, Clifton(Wilma)Causey of El Dorado, Arkansas and Anthony(Kelly)Causey of Arlington, Texas; a daughter Dolores A. Boler of El Dorado, Arkansas; two brothers; Rev. Uriah Causey, Jr. of Compton, California and Rev. Samuel(Kathryn)Causey of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Causey will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Bobby Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lott Burgy Cemetery, El Dorado, AR under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff.
