Melvin Mosley

"In my fathers house are many mansions" Bro. Melvin Mosley was born on December 16, 1932 to the late Lillie Lee and Green Mosley. He departed this life on October 27, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild, four sisters, Lizzie Williams, Bertha Archie, Minnie Lee Montgomery and Bessie Nelson; one brother, Coundrie Williams. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Anna Mosley. Five sons; Willie Davis(Debra) of Marshall, Texas, Malvin Mosley(Frances), James Dunn both of El Dorado, Arkansas, Torrance Dunn(Roslyn) of Conway, Arkansas and Melvin Mosley, Jr. of Dallas, Texas. Six daughters, Ava Harris of Fordyce, Arkansas, Christine Brooks of Dallas, Texas, Constance Mosley of Marshall, Texas, Sherry Gray(Bobby), Lillie Mosley and Sandra Mosley all of El Dorado, Arkansas. Four brothers; John Henry Smith, Cortez Smith, Elmer Smith and Ivory Mosley all of El Dorado, Arkansas. One sister; Comeal Kendrix of El Dorado, Arkansas. Twenty-one grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren. A host aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Homegoing services for Bro. Mosley will be held on Saturday, Novembe 3, 2007 at 12:00 noon at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, El Dorado, Arkansas with the Rev. Leon Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, November 2, 2007 from 9:00am-5:00pm and Saturday, November 3, 2007 from 8:30-10:30am.
