John 14:1 A TIME TO BE BORN: Virgil "Pop" Sapp was born on September 30, 1971 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Mae Reatha Coggins Sapp, Muriel and Vergil Levingston and the late Lillie Mae Adams. A TIME TO LEARN AND EARN: He was a graduate of Junction City High School. He was of Baptist Faith. He was a dedicated employee of ConAgra Poultry Company in El Dorado, Arkansas for sixteen years in the Twenty-Eight Degree Room. A TIME TO LOVE AND LIVE: Virgil was united in holy matrimony to Shaytra Hill. On April 6, 1998 to theis union they were blessed with four children. Pop loved fishing and listening to "Charlie Boy", being known as "Poppa Shango". A TIME TO MOURN: On December 30, 2011 Virgil transitioned to his final resting place, where he eternally united with his loved ones, Mae Reatha "Big Mother" Sapp, Lillie Mae "Mother" Adams, James "One Brother" Sapp, two sisters, Susie Sapp, Martrice Brown, a loving Father-in-law, Rev. James Hill. Virgil leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Shaytra Sapp of El Dorado, Arkansas,one son, VaDarian Sapp of El Dorado, Arkansas; three daughters Ceara Jamerson, VaShantae Sapp of El Dorado, Arkansas, Kia McNeal of Bernice,Louisiana, his father Vergil Levingston of Junction City, Louisiana, his mother Muriel Brown-Levingston of El Dorado, Arkansas; eight sisters, Janice(Eddie) Meeks of El Dorado, Arkansas Donna(Michael)Moore of Minden, Louisiana, Bobbie Sapp, Juanita(Donnie)Ford, Shirley Newton all of El Dorado, Arkansas, Mattie(Ricky)Richmond of Texarkansas, Texas, Marie(Jimmy)Burch, Carrie(Malcom)Taylor all of Bernice, Louisiana; four brothers Frankie(Debra Ann)Sapp of Junction City, Louisiana, John(Tammy)Sapp of Randolph, Louisiana, Freddie(Helen)Evans of El Dorado, Arkansas, Sidney Sturkey of Atlanta, Georgia; one god daguther Raelyn Thomas-Glover of El Dorado, ARkansas; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. A Homegoing Celebration for Vigil will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Doug Marsh officiating. Interment will follow in the Community Cemetery, Junction City, Arkansas under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 1:00 p.m to 4:00p.m. and no visitation on Saturday.
