Karen Denise Oliver-Bailey was born in Dallas, Texas on January 29, 1963 parentage of Claudia Stephen and John Willie Oliver. Karen was educated in the Wilmer Hutchins ISD. She accepted Christ at an early age.
Karen united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Bryant Bailey and relocated to Louann, Arkansas. This union lasted 26 wonderful years. She was a devoted and loving wife to Bryant.
Karen was a loving and caring person who liked to laugh and have fun.
Karen departed this life on May 9th.Preceding her in death is her step mother Clementine Oliver and one nephew Joshua Oliver.
Those left to cherish her memory: her husband, Bryant Bailey; her mother, Claudia (Lonell) Stephen; her father, John Willie Oliver; three brothers, Fredrick Jones, Jonathan “Wayne” Oliver and Timothy Oliver; one sister, Rhonda “Kay-Kay”(John) Holyfield, one step-sister, Barbara (Victor) Trezvant; one step-brother James (Rodney) Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 2:30pm on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
